You’ll learn how to pair printed and plain layer cakes to create beautifully balanced blocks, how to use the Cake Mix 1 papers correctly, and tips for chain piecing to keep everything moving smoothly. By the end of class, you’ll have multiple blocks completed and the confidence to finish your quilt at home.

Class Supplies Needed:

• Sewing machine in good working order with quarter inch foot

• 8 1/2” square-up ruler and your favorite 12 1/2” long ruler 

• Basic sewing supplies (thread, scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.)

• One printed layer cake

• One plain (solid or tone-on-tone) layer cake

• Cake Mix 1 papers (Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co.)

This is a great class for learning precision piecing while making a quilt that looks complex but goes together easily. Come ready to sew, learn, and have fun!
